GOOD Based on 12 reviews simon makara2022-09-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hosts Jennifer, Alan and Barney their dog are most welcoming and very friendly, we took or furbabies as well, the food was awesome, can not recommend this place enough, well worth the visit, 2nd time there and will come again when next in Stanthorpe. Well worth the Drive, havent tried the accommodation but the location is is very relaxing for a place to stay. They were incredibly generous when I turned up with 2% battery at 6:30 in the morning. I hadn’t realised when I started my trip that the supercharger at Warwick was broken, and without them I would have literally been stranded. Allan came out well before opening hours, allowed me to charge up and invited me into the beautifully warm b&b for coffee and breakfast. The avocado toast was divine, coffee was strong and tasty, and their wine selection is amazing. Don’t forget to check out their art gallery! They have a great sense of humour and were kind to this city slicker, in spite of my lack of planning. I’ll be happy to visit on my way home for another chat with them both and a snuggle with the super sweet Barney 🐶 Dahmani2022-01-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Allan who runs the place was fantastic, 5 star customer service. Barney the resident Dog was a lot of fun and the Tesla charging station a real bonus. Lovely hospitality The gardens has a Tesla charger which is why we decided to go to this particular place. Bruce and Jennifer are really lovely people and we will definitely be back on our next family trip to Stanthorpe to enjoy some more old fashioned hospitality. Ztroy2021-09-22 Family Fun! We were 2 x families looking for accommodation to suit 9 of us! The large home with 5 bedrooms suited us perfectly. Lots of space and a large common area to hang out. Jenny and Alan provided us with great hospitality. Especially the very generous and delicious breakfasts that arrived in the mornings. It was lovely to sit and have a large family table and all the great conversations that came from that. Jenny was also wonderful at accommodating our gluten intolerant son with special options for him! Peter P2018-07-14 Just like visiting old friends We stayed at Glen Aplin Gardens B&B for 3 nights and decided to eat in on 2 of those nights. The meals, both dinner and breakfast were an example of excellent home cooking and very plentiful. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Alan and Jenny invited us to join them for an old time movie night on the big screen after dinner. They really went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant and friendly experience. Their hospitality far exceeded our expectations. Peter H2017-11-23 Homely with great country hospitality I stayed in the King sized room with en suite and it was very comfortable and peaceful. Jenny and Allan were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and tasty with good coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice! Over the 3 days Jenny varied the breakfast each day to keep it interesting. The cafe overlooks the nearby hills and the art gallery has an interesting collection of art that Jenny and Allan have gathered from their travels and work around Australia over many years and from local artists. would highly recommend for a weekend or longer stay.
